Low Cholesterol Healthy "Chicken Masala"


Chicken Masala

Cook Time - 15 Minutes + Marination Time (1hr)
Total Time - 25 minutes + marination time (1hr)

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, cut into pieces

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 3 small onions sliced

  • 3-4 green chillies slit

  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed

  • 1 Tbsp ginger, grated

  • 1 tsp vinegar

For the Spices:(mix all into yogurt)

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 2 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • 1/2 tsp all spices powder (garam masala)

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • Salt according to your taste

  • 250 ml yogurt

Method
Mix the chicken with lemon juice and onions. Let it rest for atleast 1 hour.Once done, mix together all the remaining ingredients into yogurt and pour over the chicken.Now take a non stick pan and start cooking chicken until it leaves just a nice thick coating of masala on the pieces.Taste for salt and serve with coriander leaves.
